Okay, so Extended Stay has been pretty good on the downlow of things, but I figure if the LA Times, the sunherald, and the Wall Street Journal can report on it I won't get in trouble reporting it here....

As of June 15 Extended Stay Hotels are in Chapter 11.

Everyone I'm sure is well aware of the economic state of the USA right now.

What I'd love to know is what the economic state of my hotel chain is....

We're on a Cap-Ex freeze (Capital Expediture) and one "position" has been eliminated.
(We were on a hiring freeze, but that I think has turned into a "No more full time positions" position)
